Till today nothing has been seen going this closer to the monster black hole in the center of the milky way galaxy.
Scientists while observing the black hole last night saw something unusual.They spotted out clouds made up of gas revolving around the monster black hole and they were very near the behemoth's edge. Scientists observed it on three different occasions and every time the clouds were moving at an enormous speed around the black hole, "30% faster than the speed of light"said a scientist.
Those clouds were found on the orbit which is also known as the INNERMOST STABLE CIRCULAR ORBIT.It is at the minimum distance from black hole where any matter can be without falling in the black hole.These clouds were moving at a distance from black hole from where nothing,not even light can return.
"We can now get closer to the black hole"says a scientist who was very excited after discovering this.
The researchers observed the clouds using a very very large telescope array which is located in the Atacama desert in Chile.
Such discoveries can also help the scientists to test Einstein's theory of gravity,relativity.
